Not For Sale Campaign
About Not For Sale Campaign
The Not for Sale Campaign aims to raise awareness and galvanize action to fight modern day slavery by giving voice to those whose voice has been stolen from them. Not for Sale amplifies the work of abolitionist organizations working on the frontlines, which includes organizations such as Free the Slaves, Hagar International, International Justice Mission, Polaris Project and The Coalition to Abolish Slavery and Trafficking. The Campaign plugs into existing networks such as churches, schools, athletic teams, artists and businesses to stoke them into action. To date, nearly 700 churches worldwide, ranging the theological spectrum, have declared solidarity as Abolitionist Churches, including The Greater New Jersey Conference of The United Methodist Church, which declared itself an Abolitionist Conference. Not for Sale works closely with companies that want to strive towards full transparency and eradication of slave labor from their supply chain as well as with universities that track trafficking in their local communities. Ultimately the Not for Sale Campaign asks individuals and organizations to make use of their gifts, talents and abilities to end modern slavery in our lifetime.
